MAIN FUNCTION OF THE JOB:
To support the Lubricant Attendant with physical upkeep, transport, cleaning, refilling and minor maintenance of rail lubricators and check rail systems.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum of EGCSE with at least three (3) credits including Mathematics
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
- Minimum of 2 years track maintenance experience.
- TWR/protection awareness and safe trackside working competence.
- A valid driver’s licence is an added advantage.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist with the inspection, cleaning, refilling and maintenance of rail lubricators and checking rail assembles.
- Transport grease, tools, spare parts, brackets and other materials to trackside locations.
- Clear ballast, dirt, vegetation and debris around lubricators and working parts.
- Assist in checking lubricator positioning and component condition.
- Support drainage cleaning and vegetation control activities when assigned.
- Check and report depleting stock items on lubricators and consumables.
- Handle lubricants responsibly to prevent spills and environmental contamination.
- Ensure work areas are left clean, safe, and compliant with housekeeping standards.
- Adherence to safety regulations
