MAIN FUNCTION OF THE JOB:
To check and maintain rail and turnout lubrication systems to reduce rail and wheel wear, control side wear on curves and support derailment prevention.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum of EGCSE with at least three (3) credits including Mathematics
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
- Minimum of 2 years’ track lubrication experience
- TWR/protection awareness and safe trackside working competence
- Basic knowledge of lubricant types and viscosity
- Must possess a valid driver’s license with minimum of two years’ experience

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Inspect, fill, clean, adjust, and maintain lubricators.
- Check rail lubricators and switch lubrication system.
- Attend to grease pots and lubrication plates.
- Record servicing, lubricant usage, defects, and spills.
- Ensure safe working practices.
- PPE compliance and good housekeeping.
- Supervise and provide training to Lubricant Assistants where required.
